Please allow me to briefly introduce myself. My name is Kharis Fambudi. I am a student of Bandung Institute of Technology and I am currently enrolled in the 5th semester of the Faculty of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, majoring in Mechanical Engineering Study Program.
Mechanical Engineering is very enchanting for me, so I decided to take this major two years ago when entering ITB. Since it’s my interest, I’m very passionate about learning this kind of knowledge, and I always thrive as student. I’ve achieved very good academic record since my primary school till college, so I need to strive and maintain my academic performance as good as possible.
In addition to my academic activities, I also give time to my community. I take part in many non-academic activities, which give me the experiences of working together with many people from different background. I’m member of Hubungan Luar KM ITB, DAP ComLabs, SEF ITB, FSL ComLabs, ShARE ITB and Perhimak Bandung. Getting involved on those several of activities gives me ability to see things from multiple perspectives and enriches my skills. Therefore, I can adapt to new situations and make friends easily. I am also comfortable with individual work as well as working together in a group.
I was raised in a family with a strong belief in the importance of education. My parents work as teacher, and they deeply concern with my academic achievements. I have two sisters, and we are all greatly encouraged by means to do our best in school. Apparently we did it, my older sister went to Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), she has already graduated and I’m an Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) student. My little sister is sitting on second grade of Senior High School, and she plan to continue her study to Universitas Indonesia (UI).
